About Me
My wife Maureen and I have lived in the community for 19 years. Like many, we moved to the district because of the overall success of Sycamore Community Schools, our diverse students and community, the many opportunities for students, academic achievement, and strong communities. We have not been disappointed. Our oldest daughter Emily is a 2025 Sycamore graduate and currently studying at The Ohio State University. Rachel is a sophomore at Sycamore High School.
Professionally, I have worked for Nalco Water for 33 years. Currently, I am a Global Senior Corporate Account Manager. In my role, I manage a global customer portfolio of over $20Million. The skillsets I use in my professional career include team building and development, negotiation, leadership, decision analysis, financial acumen and fiscal management. All of these are vital skills for Board of Education members.
I have had the privilege to serve our district on the Board of Education for over 10 years. I was appointed to an open position in 2014 and then elected in 2015 and 2021. I was chosen by my peers to be Board Vice President for 3 years and President for 4 years. I served as the Board representative for the Master Facilities Construction process, multiple Levy campaigns, the Business Advisory Committee, Audit Committee, Community Round Table and Legislative Liaison.
My wife and I are active in the community. I have coached youth soccer through GSSA as well as volunteered at other community organizations.
